Noodle Bot
This Noodle Bot was thought of and created by a Chinese restaurateur, Cui Runguan, to help complete one of the worst jobs in his restaurant. The robot's purpose is to slice noodles from a loaf of dough and put them into pots of boiling water. This is a job that many people would rather not do, and this machine would be able to slice the noodles faster and more accurately anyhow. This addition would be more cost effective, as you do not need to pay a robot, and humans would still be given jobs since the noodles still need to be prepared into specific dishes afterwards.
I believe that this Noodle Bot would be a great addition to restaurants serving noodles. Chinese restaurants would find this especially helpful only because of the amount of noodles that the people there consume. With this addition, it would be both cost and time effective. I would think that since the humans would rather not have to do this job, this position is harder to fill- although being able to have a robot do it, the owner should not complain about this new deal. The robot has many positives that would help in the restaurant. First of all, a robot would not be looking for a pay. This would cut down on salaries and make for a greater profit to the restaurant and owner themselves. Also, the robot would be more efficient and effective, as it would make the noodles in less time with fewer mistakes than a human would probably be able to. This job would also not take away from the human jobs in the restaurant, as they would still be needed to prepare these cut noodles into all the different types of dishes ordered.

In Restaurant Atmosphere
I personally see many perks about this new robot creation. There would be no more bad comments about working and having to complete that particular job, along with the cost and time advantage. Like all other robots, there is always room for improvement. I'm sure that going forward with this design that people could probably make it be able to go even faster or complete more and different tasks. The only downfall I see with that moving on is that, if they make it so this robot can complete all the different tasks, it would take away from human jobs. I don't find that this would be fair and would only create a very bad cycle in society as more and more humans get put out of work. I believe that at its status right now, it is helpful- but if advanced too far, it could become too much.
